Should have posted this yesterday for St David’s Day but I forgot. Never mind they are great any time.


Floury Baps.
Welsh Butter.
Minced Lamb.
Roughly Chopped Leeks.
Slices Of Chaerphilly Cheese.
Pinch Of Salt & Pepper.
Mild Mustard – optional.


Slice baps in half & lightly butter both pieces.
Spread a little mustard on bottom
slice of the bap – optional.
Flavour minced lamb with a little rosemary and a pinch of Salt & Pepper.
Form into burgers.
Grill or fry the burgers.
Put chopped leeks with a small amount of butter into a pan & suate until leeks are translucent.
When burgers are done, put them
onto the bottom baps, place leeks on top, place cheese slices on top of leeks & heat under grill until cheese melts.
Put top slice of baps on top of cheese.
Eat and enjoy.

Trust me it is delicious.
